Cindy Droog
VP Global Corporate Communications & Reputation Management, Amway
Cindy Droog is Vice President, Global Corporate Communications &
Reputation Management for Amway. In this role, she oversees a global team responsible for areas such as reputation management, Amway brand, corporate social responsibility and sustainability, employee communications, public relations, executive visibility, crisis management and industry relations. She works alongside Amway’s global and North American leadership teams to connect all audiences to Amway’s purpose, vision and growth strategy.
She joined Amway in 2006 and has since held several roles, first supporting the
world’s largest-selling vitamin and dietary supplement, Nutrilite by Amway, as
then in social content strategy; crisis and issues communications; reputation
management; change management and marketing communications.
Prior to joining Amway, she served as Vice President of Michigan-based North Star Public Relations and held marketing, communications, CSR and publicity roles at Valspar Corporation (now Sherwin Williams); Weber Shandwick; the
Peoria Rivermen minor league hockey team; and the American Red Cross.
She is a native of Texas and Ohio who now calls Grand Rapids, Michigan home.
She is an alumna of Ohio University and Syracuse University and dedicates her volunteer and Board service time to early childhood education causes.
She is married, has two teenage sons, and enjoys jogging, hiking with Hamilton the Labrador, reading and writing.
